For Sale - raft and docks
As many of you know, the WCA was forced to give up its raft last summer due to insurance concerns. In addition thanks to a generous grant from the Brown Foundation and donations in memory of Joyce Tawney, the WCA upgraded the docks earlier this summer. If you are interested in purchasing the raft or the docks, call the WCA office at (603) 526-7934.
Raft - in great shape - $300 (or best offer)
Docks - need new decks but the frames are in great shape - $700.00 (or best offer)
This year the WCA awarded Kay White Memorial Scholarships to three Wilmot students Aidan Terhune, Morgan Carafa and Jenna McCarthy. All three graduated from Kearsarge Regional High School in June. Imagination into Art - Thank you
An enthusiastic crowd of art lovers filled the WCA's Red Barn on June 24 and 25. Now in its fourth year, Imagination into Art was a creative triumph. The event has much to offer - a warm community event, a fabulous reception, art show, silent auction and sale. Thank you to all of the artists and volunteers who helped make this event a success. [
More]
There are just two items left from the Imagination into Art Silent Auction. We'd be delighted if you would make us an offer we couldn't refuse. John Monto's intriguing harmonogram on the left has a starting bid of $15. Chris Whitcher's charming painted bottle has a starting bid of $10. Contact the WCA at
wca@tds.net if you would like to put in bid. Bidding closes July 8 at noon.
A few more thank yous!
First to Rachel Seamans! Along with her family, Rachel continues to keep the beach in good order, taking charge of the docks and boats, repairing the fireplace, and keeping things tidy. Thank you to all! More thanks to Ann Davis, Lindy Heim and the Garden Club for their help with the gardens at the Red Barn and beach plantings. Thanks to Jeff Gove for keeping the lawn at the Red Barn well mowed. In spite of the lack of rain the WCA properties are looking great. And finally, our thanks go out to John Monto for repairing the rocking chair at the Red Barn and Scott Capron for installing a kickplate on the front door.
