Janice was diagnosed with cancer in August 2014. While she’s been undergoing treatment, her home became her safe haven, rarely wanting to leave the home except for treatment.
Janice recently received a trip to a condo on Lake Hamilton from the Lymphomaniac Society. Once she arrived at the lakeside resort, she says she felt herself start to relax.
“I really started to look around at all the wonderful things and views, and started thinking about how blessed I am.”
Janice says that since this trip, she is ready to do so much more—take more trips and do more activities.
“This getaway has done so much for me I can’t express to you how much I appreciate it and how much it helped me.” Janice says. “I couldn’t have asked for a better getaway to help me recover from all the treatments and everything I have gone through.”
