May God's blessing go with us today,
At the end of this school year we pray.
That You keep us safe and give us rest
So we start again renewed and refreshed.

May God's blessings await us next year,
To embrace each new challenge without fear.
Fill this school with Your love,
and guide our hearts from above.
Full of faith, full of hope,
full of joy, and full of love.

Amen.

Bell Schedule for 2016-2017
The daily bell schedule next year will include more opportunities for longer class periods each week. In order to improve the student experience, we are moving to having block days every Wednesday and Thursday. Currently our block days occur about every three or four weeks.  Check out this short informational video that offers the rationale for the change here. We are looking forward to the 2016-2017 academic year!

End of BSM's Fiscal Year - June 30!
As our Red Knights leave the BSM halls for summer break, the end of BSM's fiscal year is coming up Thursday, June 30. We have had a lot to celebrate within the Advancement Department over the past year including new team members, a successful Day of Giving, many new supporters and much more. Thank you to everyone who has already made their mark on the BSM student experience by giving back to BSM.

We still have a few weeks left in our fiscal year. We are racing toward BSM's Annual Fund goal of $1.1 million before the end of the year, and we need all hands on deck to help the community reach that achievement. We invite you to make a gift today by visiting BSM's support page here or by giving a member of our Advancement Team a call today at 952-915-4341. We hope that we can all celebrate this achievement together and we can only do that with your support. Thank you for your consideration and Go Red Knights!

Students Who Took AP Exams

Here is the process for ensuring that you get your AP scores online in July:
  1. Keep your 2016 AP Student Pack after your last AP test – this contains your AP number
  2. Go to apscore.org
  3. Follow prompts to create an account (you may already have an account if taken SAT or subject tests)
  4. Write down your username, password and your 2016 AP Number and keep these in a safe place
  5. If you’ve followed these steps, you will receive emails telling you how to access your score(s) once they are available in July.
ACT Now Offered in September
The BSM Guidance Department decided to change the fall date that they offer the ACT at BSM from the October date to September because of the higher number of BSM students that have been taking the ACT in September and because of the increasing number of BSM students who are applying to college with November 1 deadlines. This fall, the September ACT date will be September 10, 2016. Students will be able to register for the 2016-2017 ACT and SAT test dates on their respective websites in mid-summer.

Junior Students and Parents
  1. Please remember to check your BSM email throughout the summer. The counselors will be sending several important emails to you and your parents regarding the college application process.
  2. Juniors will receive their graded college portfolios back at the end of May. Please do not lose these! Use them as a resource when filling out your college applications. Also, make sure to save your English essays from this year – you may be able to use some of them when applying to colleges.
Magna Test Prep
Magna Test Prep will be offering a discounted five-session class to BSM students in preparation for the September 10 ACT. The group classes will be held at BSM 7/19, 8/2, 8/16, 8/23 and 9/3 all 1-5 p.m. In addition, students will have four one-on-one tutoring sessions.
