June and July are exciting months for Woman Within Western USA local communities are hosting Open Circles, 2016 Rose Award recipients are announced, and the Board of Directors will have the annual face to face meeting--this year it's in Santa Barbara. At this meeting we discuss ways to make our organization better for all of us. We want to hear from you! Come connect with all our board mejmbers at a Community Gathering or send me an email. We are also preparing for the next Woman Within Weekend in Central Coast California on September 9th - 11th. Keep reading to stay connected and involved: attend an Open Circle in June or July, a Community Gathering on July 16th, or Circle Training on July 9th.& 10th. Woman Within Rose Awards are presented each year to women who have given their time and talents to provide opportunities for other women to discover the power of who they are. While many women in all Woman Within Regions live this mission, only a small number are selected for this high honor each year. Congratulations Lynn and Joanna, our 2016 Western USA Rose Award recipients. Please join us in congratulating them at our Community Gathering on July 16th. If you cannot attend, send your kind words.

These circles are open to ALL women ages 18 and up. It's a great way to introduce new women to our awesome community. So come on down, and invite a friend who hasn't done the Weekend.  STAFFING OPPORTUNITIES IN CAMBRIAApply now to staff in Cambria at the Woman Within Weekend on September 24th & 25th. Completing a Staff Training Workshop is not necessary to submit a General Staff Application, however it is a requirement for first time staffing. We will have a staff training prior to the Cambria Weekend, date and time TBA. Contact Marie if you're interested in the Facilitator Certification and Leadership Track.

 SANTA ROSA GRADUATES HONOREDOn June 5th, we welcomed 21 new women into our community's warm embrace. Friends, partners, spouses, and children gathered in Berkeley for a community potluck and honoring ceremony for these wonderful women.  WHAT MAKES OUR WEEKENDS SO UNIQUE?During the Weekend, each participant has one woman on the staff devoted to her journey, someone who has attended a Weekend and a Staff Training Workshop®. All Weekend Leaders and the Facilitation Team have earned Certification through a vigorous practical training process that can take up to ten years to complete. Additional Woman Within International Workshops are required and once certified, Facilitators begin continuing education that includes Weekend facilitating and evaluations. Every woman who considers a Woman Within Weekend experience should know they will be held in the loving hands of many, very capable women.

NORTHERN CA SUPPLY COORDINATOR
Do you love to shop for deals? Do you enjoy organizing materials? Do you desire to help make the Woman Within Weekends possible? We're looking for a woman to lovingly inventory and replenishesor the Northern California Woman Within Weekends -- someone to help purchase, and arrange transportation for supplies to and from the Northern CA Weekend. Cost of supplies is reimbursed and there is a small stipend for this position. Please contact Marie Bice if you have an interest or want more details.
