Please join us this Saturday 06/11/16 at PONDL Winery for a new wine release and pick-up party! New wine release, grilled Italian sausage sandwiches, tossed green salad and live music from the "one man band" Funky Tim singing groove rock tunes in the picnic area 2-5 pm.

NEW 2014 Montepulciano, Lodi
This is our very first Montepulciano, the fruit is from Lodi, but the grape's origin is Abruzzo, Italy. This wine is unfiltered and un-fined. The color is a deep red, with earth, spice and black currant accents on the nose. Rounded tannins, dried cherries, earthiness, plum and cinnamon on the palate. It's a beautiful aromatic, "rustic" wine.

Your shipment consists of our newest release and first ever, 2014 Montepulciano, the fruit is from Lodi, rounded tannins, dried cherries, earth and plum on the palate, perfect with pork, lamb, and of course Italian sausage! We round out your shipment by including our best selling 2013 Chardonnay, 'The Lady', crisp, light, fruit forward, un-oaked and un-buttery! Perfect for the summer months! Glazed Pork Loin
Cook according to directions. 15 minutes before done, turn oven up to 400 degrees. Pour Cherry Pepper Jelly over meat, continue baking until golden brown, about 15 minutes. Serve with our newest wine release, 2014 Montepulciano.
