MEMBER PROFILE
Pacific Flying Club
Pacific Flying Club (PFC) is recognized as an industry leader in flight training. The club has the largest fleet in B.C. consisting of 27 aircraft and 3 simulators. Established in 1965 as the Canadian Pacific Airlines Employees Flying Club, the club celebrated its 50th Anniversary in 2015.
The Club is a not-for-profit organization and all revenues go towards club expenses, maintaining fleet, and unlike other schools, the club does not charge for pilot seminars. The school was the first flight training centre in the Lower Mainland to be accredited by PPSEC and is recognized as an industry leader. The school was also one of only a few flight training centres to hold the Education Quality Assurance designation from the Province of BC.
PFC has graduated thousands of pilots who are flying with major airlines, corporate cargo in Canada and throughout the world. PFC offers a familiarization flight for those interested in starting their pilots license whether it's a full Private Pilot License, Recreational Pilot Permit or if you're planning a career as a pilot.
Pacific Flying club recently doubled its available space for students with added briefing rooms, groundschool rooms and lounges. A visit to PFC's website at www.pacificflying.com will give you a wealth of information on the Club's history, staff, fleet and flight training.
