Baccalaureate
Thursday, June 9 | 6-8pm
The Schoolhouse
Our annual Baccalaureate service will take place next Thursday from 6-8pm in the ESLA sports arena (back lot). All students are required to attend in their formal uniform dress. Families are encouraged to attend, as well. There will be a reception with light refreshments after the service.
Baccalaureate is the last of our three major school feasts. During this service, we give thanks for the school year behind us, and celebrate special accomplishments with awards and recognition. Next year's captains for the Red and White teams will be announced and caped, and the sacred tiller will be awarded to the team that has accumulated the most points in our Red/White competitions. All new council members for 2016-2017 will be commissioned, including the members of our new Honor Council. Finally, the Founders' Award will be given to a student who has demonstrated ESLA's school virtues. This is an important final moment to be together before we break for the summer.
Last Day of School
Friday, June 10 - Pick-up at 2PM
Student attendance on Friday is mandatory. All ESLA-provided tech, inc. chargers and accessories, must be returned that day. If any tech is not returned on Friday, the school will charge students for any missing items.
The schedule for Friday is as follows:
7:30 – 9:50 Technology turn in (in the Chapel) & locker clean out by advisory
9:55 – 10:20 Final Chapel
10:25 – 11:55 Faculty vs. Student Soccer Game
12:00 – 12:45 Lunch
12:45 – 2:00 Yearbook signing
2:00 – Pick-up
