Getting the Word Out!

Welcome to the very first newsletter from Dear Dyslexic.

Here’s a quick round up of what’s been happening over the last month.

The latest blog post has been released. As part of creating Dear Dyslexic I’ve had to conquer my fear of social media – or at least feel the fear and do it anyway. This new blog post is all about using social media when you have dyslexia. Take a read (or have a listen) and share your thoughts about this post on Facebook.

Speaking of social media, now that I’ve conquered my fear of social media I need some people to hang out with! Come and show some love to Dear Dyslexic on the Facebook and LinkedIn pages – and join in the conversation.

Dear Dyslexic in the news

The Sunraysia Daily ran a big article in mid-May to highlight the work of Dear Dyslexic to their loyal readers in the Victorian border region. Take a look.

Keep an eye out for upcoming blogs with guest writers from Australia and beyond. Share your thoughts, leave comments and remember, on this site if you make spelling and grammar mistakes, it doesn't matter!!
Have you checked out the Dyslexia in the Workplace page yet? It has lots of information for people with dyslexia who are in the workplace, and useful tips and strategies for employers to help support their staff who have dyslexia.
Keep an eye out on the www.deardyslexic.com and Facebook for the latest updates, news alerts and all things to do with young people and adults with Dyslexia.
