Friday, June 10 at 7:30 pm, we will be acknowledging the great work Susan Bernstein has accomplished and the positive impact she’s made over the past two years here at Temple Israel.
Also, the Temple Israel house band, Heavy Shtetl, will once again be enhancing the Kabbalat Shabbat service.
Members of the band, Susan Lackman, Richard Knapp, David Markowitz, and Susan Bernstein, invite TI members and Orlando friends to join as we celebrate Shabbat, as well as June birthdays and anniversaries. Debbie Meitin will be singing!
That same Friday, June 10 at 8:30 pm we will have a special Oneg Shabbat with Israeli Dancing. You will have the opportunity to learn new dances as well as dance to old favorites. Come join the fun!

The RAISE program for young adults with special needs is now accepting online applications. There will be a limited number of positions available, as well as opportunities to volunteer as a Job Coach.
RAISE is a 6- to 12-month work and social skills training program offered through the Jewish Federation of Greater Orlando that provides paid employment at our partnering Jewish agencies for adults with special needs. In addition, RAISE assists its employees in the transition to finding employment in the community.
