What is Happening at AZC.
Seiju continues to enjoy the hot springs of Wyoming. We can only guess where he is off to next.
Samu Saturday and Buddhist movie night went wonderfully. That movie was a bit confusing, it was clearly a Buddhist movie but I am not sure what it was about. I was told the movie was a koan, in that case, it worked.
Attendance.
Morning attendance has been very solid while evenings can be sparse, Saturday mid=morning continues to be strong and beginner's instruction has become very popular.  .

Well the weather has turned HOT, fortunately the swamp cooler is up and running. The backyard is just waiting for you to drop by and relax in the shade.  People continue to give us things, umbrellas, rocking chairs, a bridge is on its way,  more rocks and even cigars.  I like cigars.

Hope to see you soon,.

What a beautiful back yard.
Samu Saturday
I want to thank every one who showed up (about 13+/-)  we got a great deal done.  Virginia and a her crew got the Reference Room set up and cleaned up the main library giving the books a litttle room to breathe. The Tholus (that's the Gazebo thingy) roof is repaired thanks to John W. and Molly. The dirty job was cleaning the shed. We separated all the household junk from the garden and tool junk. This gave Harriet a place to put all the junk that was in the boiler room. Nowit is easier for you to find what ever junk you are looking for. Can't wait to do it again, but I think we will wait until it cools down before we do.

Thank you again it really makes a difference and I appreciate it.

"It Ain't so" by Per Bergman

water pure
unexpected clearly

we talk about these things abstractly
but won’t realize
inherent discomfort

illusion of tweaking just a tiny bit
keeping the rest

pick and choose and have our dear arrogance overrule
eons of wisdom and knowledge

laziness and ignorance
cover our tracks with nifty monologs

we don’t know almost anything
have to change almost everything

only to be pure and clear
