MDE moves into Phase 2
The month of May was significant in the building of Marketplace & Development Enterprises. As the MDE team met together in Farmington, MI to review, strategize, and plan; a new realization emerged: we have passed from phase 1 to phase 2 of the organization's development. The initial phase was laying the foundation, setting policies and procedures, and seeking "early adopters" to join MDE. Some of those initial people were members who joined and have "gone," and volunteers who support, mentor, and help build the services we provide. We are up and running in all three divisions of MDE with people working overseas in the areas of Business as Mission, Tentmaking, and Community Development.
Phase 2 is about growing MDE, raising the awareness of MDE for people called to go, approving more members, and expanding our network even more. We have services to offer to business and vocational professionals who feel the call and desire to work overseas and be missional at the same time. We have the systems in place and our network is expanding. In the past two weeks, we approved three new tentmaker members, had several inquiries from people looking to begin BAM ventures in unreached communities, and a new non-profit, community development organization legally approved in Eastern Europe. Praise God for these advances for the spread of the Gospel!
God is on the move and MDE is growing as part of His plan to reach the nations.
