We are blessed!

How are we blessed? Glad you asked. We are...

  • Blessed to be back in Suriname after being gone for four years.
  • Blessed to see pastors and church members still serving the Lord.
  • Blessed to find a good vehicle to use in our work.
  • Blessed to find a nice, two-bedroom apartment to live in.
  • Blessed to have family and friends who believe in us and make it possible for us to be here.

Last Sunday we preached in Paramaribo, in the congregation established in 2003. This Saturday and Sunday we are scheduled to be in Nieuw Nickerie, in western Suriname. Next week we are to speak at ladies' and men's conferences in Guyana.

We appreciate your prayers and support. As we say in Suriname, Gran tangi.

Back in Suriname

Traffic moves on the left in Suriname. That means the steering wheel is on the wrong side (actually it is on the right side) of the car. Aso, the windshield wiper control and the turn signal are on opposite sides of the way they are in a  "normal" car. What that means is the newly arrived driver will walk to the passenger side of the car and the newly arrived passenger will walk to the driver's side. It also means the driver will frequently turn on the wipers when he is ready to make a turn.
