The Year of the Red Fire Monkey
Greetings Subscriber
Two most essential and unique aspects of Hua Gong are to make the connection with the Spiritual force, which is like the source of our human life-the origin, the prenatal Qi. Making the connection starts with the gesture or code .
Secondly, we need to contain the Qi. To do this we need to draw back the dissipated energy and truly ground ourselves. The Qi returns from the feet and we must ensure there is no leakage of energy either.
Any of the walking exercises and hand gestures which Zhixing has been teaching are designed to set these two essential principles in place. All the various Forms we learn, from the Sword to the Advanced Forms and the many others aim to set us up and to enhance these two "essential" aspects.
Once we make the upward connection and the Qi returns from the feet we can truly say "Heaven and Earth meet" and we are now experiencing the powerfully transformative effects of Hua Gong.
Message from Zhixing and Calligraphy of the month.
Please see below a Qi Calligraphy which contains an embedded transmission pf power, order and vitality.
Meditate on this and respond to it in the way which is natural for you.
Jian Qi/Qi of the Sword
The Qi is the nature of all things. When the Qi is activated in the sword, the sword is flying, dancing, spinning, vibrating and radiating. It becomes a tool to enlarge the Qi-field around the body . It increases our energy and physical capacities. It is a good illustration of Hua Gong principles; take a gesture and tune in to the Qi.
