Dear Subscriber,

Thank you for your interest. We hope you continue to enjoy these newsletters.  As you may be aware we are now up to issue No.16.  Be aware that what you are reading now is a covering mail and NOT the newsletter.  Follow the link above to take you to our own website where you can read or download all 16 newsletter to date...  Or you may pick on the link near the end of this email to take you straight to issue 16.

This quarter we have an egocentric article on an experience that James Sinclair had way back in the 1970's.  It is hoped it will teach you a little something of the culture of martial arts back then and what inspired James to train so hard!

The last few MasterClass seminars have been very popular.  If you wish to attend any it is recommended you book early to secure your place.  This month is Long Pole Training. If power and strength or weapons generally are of interest, you will be welcome to attend.  Open to any level of student member as you will not require Wing Chun Kuen hand skills.  This is a very different animal.  If the weather is good we will be training outside by the lake.

The seminar and instructor training is a week late in June.  The third week is Father's Day.  The seminar falls on the 4th Sunday.  26th June from 1pm-4pm.

We now have a number of new teachers attending the instructor training and we welcome new enquires to join the team.  If you are of good standard and would like to grow your own ability and experience please contact us.  Our branches are continuing to expand and we have had a number of good passes in the gradings recently.

Sifu Mark Phillips is working far too hard, releasing his fortnightly tutorial videos on YouTube. Make sire you check out his channel at here.  We feel sure he would welcome your suggestion for questions to be answered.

Nick Martin was filmed by the BBC just a few days before this newsletter release and should be on the news programme The Victoria Derbyshire Show very soon.  As always his energy, enthusiasm and talent will shine through.  One of the UKWCKFA 's great teachers, if you are in his branch areas check his classes out NOW!

thank you very much for the DVD. I really appreciated that. I have already watched it and will watch again. I think it is very good. What I liked best was that you come over as a very relaxed, humble guy - BUT....that there is no mistaking your absolute certainty in what you teach. That is the thing that comes over loud and clear. This was very evident in the way that you answered all and any questions with conviction and openness. Also - you did not attempt to create any air of mystery - you just showed it as it is. I would be very happy to show anyone the DVD.
