Epping Forest MP Eleanor Laing visits new Loughton Screwfix branch
Epping Forest MP Eleanor Laing has visited the recently-opened Loughton branch of Screwfix saying it is a welcome arrival in Epping Forest.
The branch, on the Prospect Business Park off Langston Road, Debden, opened about four months ago. It stocks some 11,300 products and has created 16 new jobs.
Mrs Laing said: "I am extremely impressed by this new enterprise which has opened in Loughton, It is great that it is employing local people and has created 16 new jobs.
"Even more importantly it provides a really important service to local businesses right on our doorstep."
She added: "Screwfix is a real success story using modern retail methods and the most up-to-date technology. It has gone from strength to strength and I know it will be a great asset here in Epping Forest."
