We are very excited to introduce this delicious new rose to the store from The View Winery. VQA exclusive and a fantastic value this will surely be the new patio favourite. A luscious Baco Noir rose rounded out with a blend of aromatic whites. The Baco Noir was the target of the vine pull program in the 1980’s so there are very few of the vines left in the province. This unique rose really shows off the Baco Noir with a dark crimson colour and juicy raspberry and plum flavours with a hint of lingering fruit. Not too sweet it is easily paired with a variety of foods such as fresh oven baked pizza, strawberry balsamic salad with goat cheese and pecans, or with a fruit salad. It is a lovely patio sipper on its own and a must try for the rose aficionado.

Our 2015 Vineyard Accolade Edition Gewurztraminer, from the calcium rich soils of Cawston, is our favourite expression of the varietal. The nose of this wine leaps out of the glass with vibrant aromas of pineapple, honeyed lychee, and warm floral notes. Once you are past the incredible nose, the palate bursts with more tropical notes; stewed bananas, and a hint of spicy vanilla coat the mouth with a rich, long finish. Wide mouth feel, accompanied by a fresh acidity and ending with an exotic spice. Perfect for your Asian fare, Turkey dinner, or Pad Thai!
