Engine Crew Fights Basement Fire Alone

A single engine crew discovers a fire in the basement of a house, and the officer leads an interior attack. The officer doesn’t call for additional units until the engine’s water tank is almost empty.

Fire Departments Accepting Applications:

There are a number of fire departments currently accepting applications, please share the information below with anyone you feel may benefit:

1. Santa Clara County Fire Department (Los Gatos, CA):

The Santa Clara County Fire Department (SCCFD) is accepting applications for
  • Firefighter/Engineer (EMT) and
  • Firefighter/Engineer (Paramedic)
All applicants must apply through National Testing Network (NTN) and have completed their FireTEAM written test by July 28, 2016 to be considered.

2. Riverside Fire Department (CA):

The Riverside Fire Department is accepting applications for Firefighter until June 20, 2016.

3. Long Beach Fire Department (CA):

The Long Beach Fire Department will be accepting applications for Firefighter from June 24 through July 1, 2016.

4. Alameda County Fire Department (CA):

The Alameda County Fire Department is currently recruiting for two separate positions:
  • Fire Code Compliance Officer (Deadline June 13, 2016).

  • October 8, 2016 - Orange, CA
