Braun's 1,499th hit

Games played June 4, 2016

Dodgers CF Joc Pederson excelled in every part of L.A.'s 4-0 win over Atlanta. The 24-year-old doubled to snap an 0-for-20 slump, executed a beautiful bunt single to drive in a run, earned an outfield assist on a disputed catch, and stole second base before scoring L.A.'s fourth run.

Oakland 3B Danny Valencia reached base three times with a solo HR, a single, and a walk in a 6-5 loss to Houston. In a Jew vs. Jew moment, Astros reliever Scott Feldman struck out Valencia in the 12th inning and went on to earn the win.

Milwaukee LF Ryan Braun ripped his 1,499th career hit in a 6-3 win over the Phillies,

Kevin Pillar's RBI grounder in the 6th inning cut Toronto's deficit to one, but Boston prevailed 6-4.

Detroit 2B Ian Kinsler went hitless and left five men on base, but the Tigers pulled out a 7-4 win over the the White Sox.

Yankees reliever Richard Bleier did not play in an 8-6 win over Baltimore.
