"Life is a horizontal fall" - Jean Cocteau (1889 - 1963)
So fall freely!
What do you expect to come true by 2025?

1) A flying taxi
2) 3D printed clothing
3) Personal Assistant robots
4) Backup artificial second skin
5) Curved Phone Bands and Patches
6) Medicinal Transdermal Patches
7) Smart Contact lens that shoots video/photos
8) Virtual Reality headsets for Remote Presence
I don’t know which one will arrive first but I feel all of them are commercially feasible. I certainly like the area of visiting an inaccessible place virtually. Last week, I wrote about the emerging varieties of packaged super water and introduced 'M' - the urban superfood shopper. This week, I pondered on the limitations of watching live events on a TV. That led me to wonder more about the abilities of virtual reality (VR) or hyper reality and what can be achieved from it.
I can imagine remote workforces connecting at virtual meeting rooms and events by wearing a virtual reality headset.

If you can imagine that, you can also wear this alternative or hyper reality headset and walk into a remote shopping store and pick clothes or groceries and get it delivered it same day.
Now, if you can do that, you can also imagine doing
virtual tours of multiple vacation packages offered by travel providers and then pick which ones you’ll be comfortable at. The same thing applies for hotel rooms, shopping malls, conferences, sports arenas, space stations, theme parks, weddings, mountains etc. What we need is a marketplace for virtual reality content and the ability to accommodate and deliver the ambience necessary for a true virtual experience.
The future generation is about experiences. The previous generation was about work. The current generation is about sustainability and building a future that can be passed on.

There is a certain amount of media induced behavior that is stifling mindfulness and experience. There is a certain amount of over-social networking with an outpouring of irrelevant content that is diluting the true meaning of being social and connecting.
If you have noticed, the content shared on Facebook is less about you and more about funny shares & likes. The same thing is happening on LinkedIn, which has become less professional and more of an ‘intelligence’ showcase.
This will go away in 5- 10 years and pave way for real value-filled experiences.
that will be appended with being forever online, quicker travel, robotic assistants with real people with real value-driven work. Like-minded people with similar interests and a vast appetite for life. The next 10-20 years, the merging of reality and hyper presence will make things very interesting, interactive and immersive. I’ll cover the rest of 1-7 in future weeklies! Till then, remember - life is a horizontal fall. You can choose what all you all to do during this time.
Some other things I found interesting from last week!
