This term Birmingham bids farewell to the Adrian Boult Hall, venue for many past BFCS concerts. We are delighted to be taking part in the Conservatoire's 'City of Sounds' Festival which is celebrating the Adrian Boult Hall with many musical events.
We hope that you will join us on Sunday 22nd May, when we celebrate the hall with Mozart’s ever-popular Coronation Mass and Ave Verum Corpus. Our soloists are all current students at the Conservatoire: Lucinda Scott, Elouise Waterhouse, Robert Tilson and Alistair Donaghue. Orchestral pieces from the Queen's Park Sinfonia complete this concert.
'A Taste of Vienna' will be Patrick Larley's last Birmingham concert with BFCS, as his 11 successful years as our Music Director are coming to an end. He will be leaving on a high - by leading our singing on the choir tour to Burgundy at the end of July. We wish Patrick and his wife Gill much success and happiness in the future.

The process of finding a new Music Director is underway. Interviews are taking place in May, and the final few candidates will take choir rehearsals in the autumn term. We hope to be able to announce the new Music Director by the end of the year.
After celebrating the past, we look forward to new beginnings!
