All leaders and their teams struggle with having the ‘difficult’ conversations in a timely and effective manner. These conversations are never easy but often critical to the development of the individual and the team. Having these difficult conversations effectively and doing appropriate follow up can help increase employee engagement and minimize conflict, essentially ‘nipping conflict in the bud’. Sadly however, difficult situations can lead to harassment, bullying and violence in the workplace therefore we will also discuss some basic protocols and best practice to ensure any incidents are dealt with effectively, respecting both parties and hopefully not escalating to a formal investigation.

The goal of this session is to give participants strategies and tips to master these difficult conversations through feedback, listening and asking the right questions and how to deal once elevated due to bullying, harassment and violence.

This workshop qualifies under the Gas Tax Agreement and is eligible for
Matched Training Financial Assistance.
