Annual Meeting / Picnic

This year's Member's Annual Meeting and Picnic will take place on Saturday, June 18th.  We will start at noon with a special meeting to amend the by-laws, then the annual meeting at 12:15pm, along with board elections and then followed by some snacks and games!!  If you are a member, that has paid your annual dues, please come and join us.  Check out the flyer for info on the fun and activities

Also, all of our members should have received an e-mail with the bio's and ballots for the upcoming election, along with information about the special meeting and the annual meeting.  If not, you may click here.  Please send in your ballots if you are not going to be at the Annual meeting.
 

Hotter Than Hell

Registration for the Hotter Than Hell Bonspiel, continues until July 1st.  The bonspiel will be held on Thursday, July 14th (2 draws in the evening if we get to 32 teams) until Sunday July 17th and we still have room for a couple of teams, so head to the website and get signed up!!  Participants can join us for some curling, the Chili Cook Off on Friday and the Pool Party on Saturday!!
 

In - Ice Advertising

We have some opportunities for in-ice advertising for the 2016-17 season. There is a sheet of button logos (2 logos total) available for purchase, as well as behind the hack and in front of the house advertising.  If you or your company are interested, please contact Shawn by July 1st, as logos need to be ordered, printed and shipped.

Chase the Ace

The Chase the Ace raffle has moved to Thursday nights. Every Thursday night tickets are sold and a winner is drawn.  That person receives a portion of that nights pot and a chance to pull a card from the deck.  If they pull the Ace of Spades, they win the grand prize which is over $700.  If they pull a different card, that card is removed and the raffle continues the next week.  That means the odds of winning get better every week!!  The drawing takes place at 6:45pm on Thursdays, so come join us!!!
 

Lighting Project

We are fully funded for our 95 lights!!!  But we still have some expenses left to cover!!

This summer, we would like to improve the lighting inside our ice shed and go green!!  To do this we are looking to buy 95 LED light fixtures, to be installed this off season.  The cost of each light fixture is $60.  In order to help with the costs, we are looking for individuals to "purchase" a light or two.  Or for companies to help us with our sustainability project we are willing to provide in club, multi year advertising opportunities and/or a free Learn To Curl for your company depending on your level of sponsorship! This is an excellent way to help a charity and community become a little more green!
