From #EarthToParis to Biomimicry to CSR insights, this year's conference focused on moving beyond sustainability into a world driven by purpose. Targeting youth who on average get one hour of outdoor time a day, 8 Shield's mission to make nature an interactive - and integrated - part of our daily lives is both necessary and timely. Dwell on Design Los Angeles will be in town June 24-26. Appropriately dubbed America's Largest Design Event, the 3 day conference and exhibition is sure to highlight many new innovative technologies and products for the modern sustainable home. This year will showcase five full-scale prefab homes, educational seminars and Dwell home tours. Follow the conversations with #DODLA.

The SXSW Eco team recently announced the first round of PanelPicker programming as well as the latest keynote speaker, William McDonough, who will speak on the future of Cradle to Cradle, the Circular Economy and Carbon Positive Cities. He will join speakers Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Bill Nye and Kate Brandt at this year's conference in October. #sxsweco
