By popular demand, the latest version of the ICA Bylaws & Rules has been translated for the Bangladeshi cotton community and is now available as a FREE download from our website. Other foreign language versions include: Chinese, French, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Turkish.

The big countdown begins

General registration opens on Monday 4 July for our next major trade event, Liverpool 2016. Priority booking for ICA members has seen tickets selling fast. Places are limited and discounted rooms at local hotels are on hold for a limited period only so make sure you book as soon as registration opens to avoid disappointment.

New cotton standards for Mozambique

New Mozambique cotton standards – Grades Extra, I, II, III, IV and V – have been adopted as the official ICA Bremen standards for Mozambique cotton.

Your safe trading update

Since the last issue, no awards have been added to the ICA List of Unfulfilled Awards Part 1* (also known as the 'default list'), but there have been two removals:

Removal:

1. Gulle Entegre Tekstil Islemeleri Sanayi ve Ticaret AS, Istanbul, Turkey (award dated 11 Apr 1999)
    
2. Memsa Tekstil San Ve Tic Ltd Sti (AKA Memsa Tekstil Sanayi Ve Ticaret Limited Sirketi), Sanliurfa, Turkey (award dated 31 Jul 2015)
