RUBY FINALIST

Hi peeps

Big exciting news - SILK & SCARS is a finalist in Romance Writers of Australia's Romantic Book of the Year (The Ruby).

I'm so super pumped. This is my first time finaling in an award and I'm so happy SILK & SCARS is the story to do it. I really enjoyed Gwen and Edward's story and it's fantastic others enjoyed it to.

For those of you who are curious, here's a description of the Award as per RWAus's website:

The Romantic Book of the Year Award, affectionately known as The Ruby, is RWAus's premier award and the only one of its kind in Australia. Voted on by Australian readers, this contest is open each year to any Australian or New Zealand romance author who has published a romance or romantic elements book.

The sections for novels (40K+) are: Long Romance, Short Sweet Romance, Short Sexy Romance and Romantic Elements. From 2016, the Ruby will also include a section for Novellas (10K-40K), to replace our Ella contest. 

The Ruby is judged by readers. This competition has both digital (ebook) and hardcopy entries.

The Awards will be announced at the annual RWAus conference, this year held in my hometown of Adelaide, Australia. I'll be in attendance and can't wait to see the glitz and glamour of the dinner.
