Laurel Halo is next in the Action Potential series, set to happen at Kremwerk on June 16th. 
Last fall, Halo, the longtime Hyperdub affiliate, released In Situ, an eight-track double EP for Honest Jon's. 2015 also saw her collaborate with the digital pop star Hatsune Miko as part of the CTM festival and keep up her monthly slot on Berlin Community Radio. In Seattle, she'll play live with support from You're Me, a Vancouver-based duo that recently released the Plant Cell Division LP on 2014 label of the month 1080p. Action Potential, which bills itself as "a night of immersive live electronic music and visual performance," has hosted Kangding Ray and Galcher Lustwerk since launching last October.

Squall - Noise Happy Hour

Pent Up Release presents Squall, an early Friday show that happens every month at Kremwerk. Squall is an event dedicated to a wide variety of Noise music, having featured acts such as wrtch, Timm Mason, Blood Box, Contact Cult, Bardo:Basho, & The Rita.

Daniel Graves’ voice and talent truly shine on this piano bar release. It is amazing to hear the electronic sounds of their previous creations translated into an acoustic format...“Vapor” is downright outstanding. I didn’t think that this song could get any better, but Graves is always full of surprises. His fingers were relentless, and they sounded as if they were dancing out the high notes through the song’s entirety. Their musical talent grows with every release, and you don’t want to miss on this adaptation of it. You may feel like you are at a Vaudeville show while listening, but these boys do not need pitch shifter or electricity to sound good. - Slug Mag on Aesthetic Perfection's "Imperfect"

The next edition of Research will happen on June 18th at Seattle venue Kremwerk. 

Research is dedicated to "adventurous dance music," having hosted guests such as Mike Huckaby, Joey Anderson andGunnar Haslam over its short run. In June, they'll bring in Drexicyan DJ Stingray. Appropriately, they've also booked in Seattle's Frustrated Funk affiliate 214, an electro-leaning producer who released an album called North Bend on Shipwrec last year. Rounding out the lineup is rising Vancouver producer and DJ LNS, who has material on the way via Fett Burger and Jayda G's Freakout Cult label. - Resident Advisor on Stingray coming to Kremwerk.

Lady Miss Kier is a legend of dance music and anybody that remembers the 90s. “Groove Is In The Heart” was a pop smash with a funky beat, paving the way for club music’s diverse and energetic presence over the rest of the decade. After dazzling as the fashionista front woman of her most famous band Deee-Lite, she has collaborated with such greats as George Clinton, Bootsy Collins, and a Guy Called Gerard. Her DJ sets are lively, soulful, and most of all, a ton of FUN.
