Haringey Heroes
Do you know someone who deserves a pat on the back for the brilliant work they do? We are organising “Haringey Heroes Week†between 27 June and 2 July. The aim is to collect and share as many stories of kindness, generosity, achievement and community spirit as possible.

Please nominate as many Haringey Heroes as you would like by:
Everyone who is nominated will be entered into a prize draw and the winners will be announced on 2 July. And we will help promote any charities, voluntary groups and businesses who are associated with Haringey Heroes on Twitter, Facebook and on our website.
Could you help improve Haringey’s housing service?
Homes for Haringey’s 22,500 residents have from now until 22 July to put themselves forward to stand for election to the Homes for Haringey Board. This chance comes only once every three years and residents who are interested in having more of a say about housing in Haringey are encouraged to put themselves forward.
Phil Goodwin (pictured) who is standing down after nine years on the Board said: “It has been incredibly rewarding and I would encourage people to give this a go – your views are really listened to and you can make a real difference.â€
