Annual Survey Results

Thank you to everyone who filled out the survey. I was very flattered by the feedback I received and overall, it seems like another very successful year!

I've compiled the results from all four leagues. I got some really good feedback and suggestions that I play to implement next season as well!

Based on the feedback, next season will will most likely continue to offer one Auction style draft and will introduce a new $200 tier. I'll also look to incorporate more prizes - perhaps another side game, payouts to division winners, perhaps weekly winners as well!

Question 1: Championship Games: Who do you project to win?

Question 2: 3rd Place Game: Who do you project to win?

Question 3: Would you prefer a Keeper or Single-Season league next year?

Question 4: What Buy-in would you play (more money, more prizes)?

Question 5: Do you prefer Auction or Standard Snaking Draft format?

Question 6: Overall rating based on 3 point scale:

Question 7: Suggestions/Comments/Feedback for next season:
1. Get a new commissioner! Just Kidding Joe - great job as always!
2. Not real big on weekly waivers
3. Good league,  I like either auction or standard snaking either one really
4. Thought everything was well done and the league was a lot of fun
5. I dont know how the wavier wire worked between each week but if there is some way to alternate the order each week so everyone gets to be first atleast 1 time throughout the season 6. Would be great. Other then that amazing league!
7. None. loved the league except people were intent on no pre-draft trading.
8. I love this leauge.
9. Excellent league
10. Great league
11. Grrrreat league!!
12. Another great year.
13. 50 is sexy! oh yea this is NOT 50....haha
14. I enjoyed the league.  Next year I will be more prepared.
15. More newsletters
16. Would love to see a keeper league. It would just be nice to see for the people that are planning to stick around.
17. Maybe we can do something for weekly prize. Like highest score or highest scoring player. The thing you did with scratch scratch off cards was good but once you were eliminated you were done. If we were to do like a 10 dollar prize every week for highest score or something like that, it would keep everyone interested and they would still be trying to compete even at the end of the year. Its good to keep everyone interested even if they are out of the playoff run. All in all this is a great league. I see really good things in the future for this league.
18. Possibly weaken the scoring on QBs and strengthen the scoring on Defenses. Makes INTs a -2.5 for QB and a +2.5 for DEF, and increase sacks to either 1.5 or 2. more negative points for interceptions  minus2 or minus3
19. I really hope you consider making it a PPR League.
20. Great commish-- maybe bye week for top 2 teams
21. More money to regular season winners, rather than most going towards playoffs
22. Excellent league...I loved every moment...thanks to the owners and commish!
23. uhhhhhh 50 is STILL sexy!
24. Establish a payout for winning your division. For example, in the $100 league, award each division winner $50.
think fumble recovery should be worth 2 for team def as well as individual players
25. Great job Joe!
26. Had the worst season in 5 years of fantasy football, playing at minimum 2 leagues a year, but the league is great and you run it perfectly.
27. Loved The league. Looking forward to next year. A keeper league could be fun if people can commit to playing every year.

Sportsman of the Year Award

The following managers were selected by their peers as the recipient of 2010's "Sportsman of the Year" award. In addition to $25 cash, their accomplishment will be recorded in the LOVE OF THE GAME Hall of Fame Record Book.

$100 ALL-MADDEN
Tiler, GreenMonsters
I've played in at least 7 leagues with him, and he really one of the most active members in the game. He is the true trade king, always looking to better his team. He also is active on the message boards and offen is on the receiving end of a lot of smack talk - but he keeps a positive attitude and takes it in jest. If you've played in a league with Tiler, I'm sure you'll agree he's worthy of this award.

100 PRO
Alex, CorpseGrinders
Alex actually resides in Vienna, Austria but he found our league through a message board post. This is his first time playing in our league, but boy has he made a good first impression! In addition to my own personal experiences, I received a lot feedback about how enjoyable it has been to work out trades, and just general chat. I, for one, hope Alex is here to stay and hopes he'll be joining our other sports too!

$50 PRO
Daniel, Oman
Another new member this season, Daniel has really fit right in. I got an overwhelming response in favor of him receiving the $25 prize. He's been one of the most active teams in the league and one of the most competitive. In his first season, he just missed the Championship game but still has a chance to increase his winnings if his teams finished 3rd.

$50 ROOKIES
Britt, cornhuskers
Britt has been in our leagues going on 3 years now and has won this award in the past. He really is a great example of our league mission - competition and camaraderie.
