CVA JOINS FORCES WITH THE CABINET OFFICE
We are delighted to announce that CVA SkillShare has been invited by The Minister of Civil Society to  represent the voluntary sector in Cheshire West and Chester by becoming one of their ‘Skills Ambassadors’ as part of their ‘Skills Exchange Campaign’.

The campaign aims to raise awareness of the benefits of skilled volunteering for both the charity and business sector and to articulate what is needed to deliver high impact volunteering.

If your organisation (voluntary or private sector business) would like to be a Skills Ambassador, please contact us.

STRENGTHENING THE VOLUNTARY SECTOR
In order to strengthen the local voluntary and community sector, we are looking to create a more detailed and tailored Training Calendar to meet the needs of our members.

We have produced a training needs survey to identify any gaps in knowledge within your voluntary organisation.  To take the short survey, please click here

Here's some recent feedback from one SkillShare training match up from Fran Miller of Cheshire and Warrington Carers Trust:

"The training was nothing short of wonderful.  Everyone has come back to work buzzing with suggestions and renewed confidence.  Dale made the training fun and interesting which is no mean feat when we're talking about Microsoft Access!"
