Kinsler tags out Pillar

 Games played June 9, 2016

Milwaukee LF Ryan Braun didn't reach base in a 5-2 loss to the Mets, but he did record his sixth outfield assist of the season, tying him for second among N.L. left fielders.

Toronto CF Kevin Pillar singled in a 6-5 loss to Baltimore.

Reliever Scott Feldman faced five batters in Houston's 5-3 loss to Texas, giving up a solo home run and hitting a batter before retiring the side in the 8th inning.

Reliever Richard Bleier didn't play in the Yankees' 6-3 win over the Angels.

Joc Pederson's Dodgers, Ian Kinsler's Detroit, and Danny Valencia's Athletics did not play.

Here's a Jew vs. Jew moment from June 8 that we missed: Detroit's Ian Kinsler tagging out Toronto's Pillar trying to steal second base.

On this date:

  • June 10, 2007: Colorado Rockies P Jason Hirsh pitches the first and only complete game of his MLB career, yielding just five hits in a 6-1 win over Baltimore (see bio)
