Hinchingbrooke Hospital is under threat. There is a proposed merger between Hinchingbrooke Healthcare NHS Trust and Peterborough and Stamford NHS Foundation Trusth. If that goes ahead Hinchingbrooke may lose its A&E department, maternity wards and more.
As things stands the hospital are working together to build a Full Business Case so the merger hasn’t yet got the green light. And experts are queuing up to give evidence as to why it’s a terrible idea for people in Peterborough and Hinchingbrooke. Now we need to show NHS bosses that the public don’t want this merger either.
