We hope you are enjoying the summer weather! Community Access Naperville's mission is to empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to work in, contribute to, and enjoy their community. In this newsletter we'll be highlighting our participants' contributions to our community. Click on words in blue for more information.
In addition to their $1,000 Community Service Grant toward CAN's transportation expenses last December, Rotary Club of Naperville - Downtown offered to match all donations, up to $1,500, contributed to CAN between December, 2015 and March 31, 2016. We are happy to report that we received a bit more than $1,500 in donations during that time period, so CAN did receive the full $1,500 matching grant! In April, Community Access Naperville expanded programming to include weekly Monday sessions. Funds raised through the matching grant challenge are helping to offset expenses incurred with this expansion. Many thanks toRotary Club of Naperville - Downtownand to all of Community Access Naperville's generous supporters!

CAN participants have been enjoying their trips in the Young Life van! Young Life Naperville & Aurora graciously shares its van with Community Access Naperville when our destinations are not accessible by bus, train or foot. This makes a wide variety of vocational and recreational opportunities possible for Community Access Naperville programs.
Thank You, Young Life!
