Student-Built Electric Car Receives Statewide Recognition
Thirteen students from A.G.B.U. Alex and Marie Manoogian High School recently competed in a statewide electric car competition placing second in the race in a field of 25 high schools. They also received a first place trophy in the public relations category. Read more

Gates Scholarship Awarded to International Academy of Flint Senior
Zakeria Nelson is the first International Academy of Flint student to receive a Gates Millennium Scholarship. The scholarship allows for her to attend the school of her choice for free. She will be attending Kettering University in the fall to study engineering. Read more

Two Students Receive NHA Scholarships
Students from nine states competed for this year’s College Bound Scholarships awarded by National Heritage Academies. Each of the five winners received a $5000 scholarship for writing an essay on how they apply moral focus in their lives. This year’s winners included Lily Walker from Cross Creek Charter Academy and Sofia Peppard from South Arbor Charter Academy.
