Administrative Assistant

The Synod office of the Diocese of Ottawa has hired Antonio Pizzuto, as an Administrative Assistant who will work full-time for this summer until September 2, 2016.  Antonio began work on Monday June 13, 2016.

Travelling Road Show


The Montreal and Ottawa Conference of the United Church of Canada is offering a Stewardship Travelling Road show at two locations this fall:  October 22 in Chesterville and November 19 in Ottawa.  For more information about these events, please see the Road Show flyer.

Stewardship Gathering

Inspire! Ask! Thank! is a stewardship gathering of clergy and lay leaders to encourage generosity for the support of the mission of our church. It will take place on September 7 – 9, 2016, at Queen of the Apostles Renewal Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. It is being presented by General Synod’s Resources for Mission and features workshops on many inspiring and practical topics.  Topics include:

  • Preaching Generosity
  • Reaching Different Generations
  • Clergy Leadership
  • How to Ask
  • Theology of money
  • Many Other Topics

To celebrate the onset of summer St Martin's is hosting a Chirstian Meditation session led by Fr Joseph Varkey an accredited Yoga instructor who extends a warm welcome to all throughout the Diocese who would like to participate in these contemplative way of honouring summer's arrival.
