Greetings and Salutations!
Summer appears to have arrived. Early, if you're in Southern California.
We're having some interesting solar non-activity: sunspots have disappeared from the surface of the Sun. As Sol is a higher version of Self, we may find a stillness in our hearts. This can go one of two ways - either you're going to want to be very quiet and introspective, or your head is very very busy and it's hard to meditate. Only you can tell which one is true for you, but it's not going to be subtle. As with any unusual solar activity (or non-activity), I suggest modified sun salutations as part of your solution.
Mars has just gone direct, so forward motion is starting back up again. Enjoy! I know some of you have been feeling very stuck, so that should already be changing.
You may notice that the calendar of upcoming events this month stretches into Fall. I have a few classes scheduled that you may want to plan for, so I thought it might be nice to have some advanced warning. In the more immediate future, July has a quick overview of Tarot, as well as a two-day intensive workshop, and the return of my Goddess Empowerment Workshop. Early sign-ups are encouraged.
Speaking of advanced planning, I will be releasing a gluten-free cookbook for the holidays with the amazing Celina from Woodlands Kitchen, featuring photography by Evan Ballinger. Not only will you be able pro-order your copy very soon, but we will be making appearances (complete with tasty food!) starting in September or October. If you have a venue in mind that we should include, please let me know! Bookstores, health-related businesses, etc. I believe we'll even be making an appearance at the Brewery's Fall Artwalk in Downtown Los Angeles.
 One last thing! Lasara Firefox Allen's groundbreaking material on the fivefold Goddess, called Jailbreaking The Goddess, is coming out in July. I urge you to get a copy, it's truly spectacular. She'll be offering a day-long workshop here in LA at the beginning of October, which you should also go to. But get the book! Really! I have had the privilege of sitting in several workshops on the material already, and I am a big fan.
