Check in for your New Student Orientation experience
starts at 8:45 AM on 6/30/16 at Livingston Apartment B.

Livingston B Apartments
105 Joyce Kilmer Avenue
Piscataway, NJ 08854

Be sure your GPS takes you to PISCATAWAY and not New Brunswick.
(Google Maps defaults to New Brunswick, so be sure to double check.)

ID Photos

During check in, you will have the opportunity to take your photo for your ID, if you have not already done so. In order to get your photo taken, you MUST have some form of unexpired government-issued photo ID (ie. license, passport, military ID).  There are no exceptions to this requirement.

Immunization Compliance

Staff members from Rutgers Student Health Services will be available during the Resource Fair to answer questions about the University's immunization requirements and accept immunization forms.
If you have not submitted your immunization forms, you can bring them with you to Orientation to hand in at the Resource Fair.
Or feel free to submit your forms electronically to vaccine@rci.rutgers.edu.
All immunization forms are due by July 15, 2016.

Pre-Orientation Reading

All new Scarlet Knights will be provided with a copy of the book What Happens on Campus Stays on YouTube at the end of the Orientation program, as a part of our Digital Citizenship initiative. Students are expected to read a short excerpt of the book prior to their scheduled Orientation date.
You can access this excerpt here.

Special Accommodations

We, at New Student Orientation and Family Programs, do our best to make Orientation a comfortable, accommodating, inclusive space for all students. When you signed up for Orientation, you had an opportunity to let us know of any special requests (ability accommodations, medical issues, gender neutral housing, religious fasting). If you forgot to do this or have additional requests, please email us ASAP and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Student Expectations

Upon arrival, you will be asked to sign a waiver for your participation in the Orientation program. Please take the time to review this waiver now so you are aware of what you will be signing. You can find the waiver here.
Remember that if you are under 18, there is a separate waiver, found here, that your parent or guardian will need to sign.

New Student Orientation is an alcohol and drug free experience. Students found in possession or under the influence of alcohol or other drugs during an orientation program could be sent home immediately and possibly face sanctions as outlined in the Rutgers University Code of Student Conduct. If a student violates the Code of Student Conduct during the Orientation experience, there will be immediate parental notification, sanctions and possible removal from the program.
