To all friends of Spotscale,

Here's a recap of what we've been doing the last few months and where we're going in the near future!

Partners

Launch of cloud service beta

Drone operators

As a part of our SaaS strategy we are now releasing our 3D algorithms and tools in a cloud service for drone operators. Using the service, the drone pilots can focus on image capturing and utilize the Spotscale processing to deliver instant useful models to their customers. This satisfies the evolving demand for unique 3D processing software that is tailored for buildings and have end users such as architects and real estate developers in mind.

HoloLens

Kalmar Castle through Hololens by Umbra, klick the image to watch!

Our friends at Umbra3D had early access to a Hololens headset and were able to visualize a Spotscale model in AR. We can't wait to see our planning use cases solved inside of this device in new innovative ways. The software from Umbra is a game changer for optimizations to the upcoming devices, and Spotscale are excited to continue partnering.

Regulations

US sets new drone law

White House

Just recently the FAA released the part 107 rule which will make it significantly easier to start and scale drone operations in the US. Spotscale have included a couple of US drone operators in our Beta test of the cloud service. We plan to exhibit at UAV shows in the US in the fall and a US sales office is on the roadmap for 2017.

Most wanted start ups at

STING Day

Spotscale joined the event Sting Day in May to meet the Swedish start up community and investors. We were very proud to be voted 5 most wanted in the investor-start up matchmaking count and made a bunch of new friends.

After this summer we are raising funds that will give Spotscale two more years to expand and establish the cloud platform as well as growing the technology base. We have just started to meet with new potential investors. Reach out if you want to have continuous information of the process. We will accelerate conversations in august.
