Featured magazine - Delicious (Australia)
Delicious magazine
Several magazines in the EYB Library have a significant number of recipes available online. This month's highlighted magazine is delicious. (Australia), which features almost 50% of its recipes online. The magazine celebrates food and the people who produce it, from favorite ABC TV chefs to passionate 'foodies' from around Australia and the rest of the world.

The monthly magazine frequently features themes like May 2016's “Baking Special”. March 2016 was dubbed “The Faster Food Issue”, while September 2015 focused on Italian food. Other months are more broad-ranging and diverse.

A note about magazine recipes - it can take a month or two before recipes are released to the web, so be patient and check back if something catches your eye but doesn't appear online at first.

It's quite easy to add all issues of a magazine in one go - visit our support page to learn how. To add all 91 issues of delicious. (Aus), use the date range June 1, 2008 to July 1, 2016 - it's like getting 32 free cookbooks!

June 2016 cookbook roundup
Cookbook collage
Last month we reported a lull in baking books, but that appears to only be momentary; cakes and desserts are back with a vengeance in June. Those rich tomes are countered by an uptick in the number of cookbooks devoted to salads and vegetables. This doesn't mean that meat is shortchanged; you'll find plenty of love for carnivores too. Reissues of beloved classics pop up as well this month. See all of the new releases on the EYB blog.
