Pre Brexit Final Thoughts

Dear <<First Name>>,

9%Sitting here on the eve of this important day in our history, I thought I would contact you to share my takeouts from the last few weeks.

I have now sat on the panel at the University with the MBA Students. Listened to the thoughts of our younger generation at Oaklands College, and debated in Brookmans Park. I am pretty appalled by the behavior of Cameron and Osbourne and frankly the BBC. They will all be judged in fullness of time. There has been a small mindedness about the debate, that verges on bullying. Exactly the behaviour we are trying to escape, but here it is exposed nearer home.

This bombardment of statistics based upon what, I dont know? the CBI claim that fpor every £1 we put into Europe we get £9 back. Great, we can all retire tomorrow and reinvest the surplus. These claims are clearly Nonsense.

Nigel Lawson, Bless Him says that
"The Reason the remain campaign comes out with all these statistics is that they do not have anything sensible to say"

No wonder people are confused and upset on the doorsteps. It will be a real shame if the Fear based campaign sways the vote, not least because it will invalidate the whole process.

Anyway I wish you all well and whatever happens tomorrow the businesses will still have to generate the cash to pay for the excesses, lets just hope that we can strip several layers of Bureaucracy out of the system. How dare these people refer to themselves as a social elite. they should get a propper job!!

Anyway please click on the link below, to see polls showing 97% of business facebook responders  voting for Brexit, and reasons why the City feels we need to leave. I subscribe to those views. These are my personal views and not necessarily those of the Chamber or its members.
