OTHER EVENTS

Data, the citizen and the state

24th June 13.00 - 14.00, ODI Leeds
Data has the power to transform the way government works, bringing benefits for us all as citizens and taxpayers. But in using these tools government must demonstrate its trustworthiness in how data is held, accessed and used.
In this lunchtime lecture, Paul Maltby, Director of Data at the Government Digital Service, will set out how government is approaching this relationship between the citizen and the state in the use of data, exploring how government should best utilise the powerful new tools at its disposal.
