Commence Children's Activities!
On Monday, we started hosting our educational Children's Activities. This week we taught English lessons. They learned animals and parts of the body in English. So many children wanted to keep learning after our lesson was over that we decided to teach a separate English class before the Children's Activities. This class will be begin on Monday and last all summer!

What's in Store?
We have come a long way in planning for our activities this summer. This upcoming week, we are teaching about the environment. Additionally, we are starting our English class on Monday! Mentorship week is really coming together and we look forward to hosting many universities and help these kids move forward in life. Health week is also looking great. Teabo has the technology to detect breast cancer and diabetes already, but we successfully booked a mobile clinic to perform mammograms in Chumayel. Further, the sports tournaments will commence on July 4th. Eight teams are already signed up and we are looking for more!
A Note from Our Interns:
It rains just about every afternoon. When it does, it is beautiful. The storms roll in and the thunder is loud and powerful. The lightening looks lazy as the bolts slowly spider across the purple skies. When we come home, cool air blows throughout the house. We finally get a break from the stifling heat.
