Media Advisory: MNA nurses media availability: noon, June 19, Stewart Park, Minneapolis


(Minneapolis) - June 19, 2016 -Striking MNA nurses will provide an update of the first day of the strike against Allina health today at noon at Stewart Park on the corner of 10th Ave S and East 26th Street in Minneapolis.

Nurses will give the latest information about the changeover to replacement nurses after the overnight shift, and strike details.


Nurses are engaging in an Unfair Labor Practice Strike that began at 7 a.m. Sunday, June 19.  MNA has filed numerous ULPs against Allina Health in part for failing to provide information nurses need to negotiate and for failing to bargain on non-economic issues in the contract.
