I’m REALLY looking forward to our summer together!
We’ve already started our book study, and it’s been fantastic. Each week, hundreds of people pack in The Prayer Chapel like sardines to learn how to pray (and to actually pray) together. (Click here if you're interested in more information.)
But the reason I’m writing you today is to invite you to join us, starting this Sunday at 9am and 11am, for our summer sermon series...
Mix-Tape
Remember making mix-tapes when you were younger? You know, those cassette tapes with a handful of carefully curated songs, fit to a specific purpose?
What was a road trip without having your favorite bands to listen to (and keep you awake)?!
I know - it's all about playlists these days. But there was something about that physical cassette.... Remember when you wanted to subtly (or not so subtly) hint to someone how you felt? Yeah - you gave them a mix-tape!
But either way, mix-tapes or playlists, the great thing about them is that you get to pick each song. You won't find a loser in the bunch. Every song is a favorite, and every song has a purpose.
Now we've got one for you
This summer, we've curated our own mix-tape - a series of messages shared by our pastoral staff. Most Sundays, I'll share a short message and then give one of our pastors an opportunity to share what God's put on their heart.
As with these weekly emails, you’ll get to hear the Word of God while getting to know our staff. It'll be as though God's made a mix-tape just for you.
So join us on Sundays - there won’t be a bad track on the tape!
