We are delighted to invite you to join us for the launch of The Cedar Centre, Walsall’s new centre supporting victims of domestic abuse. The Centre houses the newly-commissioned Walsall Domestic Violence & Abuse IDVA Support Service, supporting high-risk victims of domestic abuse, working alongside statutory and voluntary partners to help keep victims and their children safe. The Centre is a project of SWA, a regional charity with 30 years’ experience supporting victims of abuse in the Black Country.
We are also pleased to host the launch of Walsall Domestic Violence Perpetrator Programme, a project of Fry Housing Trust, which will work with perpetrators to challenge and change their behaviour.
Both services are commissioned by Walsall Council and are an integral part of Walsall’s drive to combat domestic abuse.
Please join us to hear from guest speakers, meet the teams, and find out more about the services, referral pathways and partnership opportunities.
