Independence Day
Boat Parade on Goose Pond Lake

Saturday, July 2; 11AM

Come watch one of the area's most decorated events - the Goose Pond Lake Independence Day Boat Parade! This year the parade will be led by a 1961 Aristocraft, and will assemble on the West shore, just north of the West Shore Road point, continue south along West Shore Road, and then go counter-clockwise up the east side of the lake. Spectators may watch from the boat launch, the dam, or any public roadside point. Spectators may cast their votes for their favorite "float" by emailing amondus@comcast.net by 3pm of that day.

EASY ACCESS!

The Meeting  House will host 4th of July events next Monday during the day. The Meeting House Reading Series starts on July 7. There will be a new handicapped ramp at the back door to the Meeting House. It should be ready by Monday.  We hope that this helps for accessibility.

Save the Date!

Your Village Water

If you are in the Village, you will receive your water and sewer bill in the next couple of days.

There are two handouts that are included. One is a sheet indicating that the system was in great shape and without any violations last year.

The other sheet tells what to do if there is lead in your water. This year, we have had one house of those tested that indicated the presence of lead. This result is specific to that house, but we are required to educate all water customers.
