The new season is not far away now and as we gear up for a few months of predicting challenges, we have opened up prediction forms for a special pre-season competition. There will be a combined table showing points from all pre-season games so please submit as you would normally, and get in that pre-season prediction training! The fixtures will be made available on the home page as and when they are announced.
The first pre-season fixture is tomorrow evening as Rangers travel to Aldershot.
There have been some behind the scenes developments for the Prediction League during the close-season and we hope to roll these out prior to the start of the new League season. At the end of the last season we also renamed the Premier League to the John Walsh Premier League - in memory of John who was a loyal and committed Rangers fan as well as a QPR Prediction League player for many years, I'm happy to say this will be a permanent feature of the Prediction League going forward.
Also, as we approach the new season we will do a re-cap of Season 2015/2016 and preview of the new season, highlighting some predictors who impressed during the last campaign and summarise the key winners.
As ever, the QPR Prediction League relies on your support by fans entering regularly and enabling us to maintain a solid user base. After a few seasons of declining numbers, we steadied the ship last season and now with the website and automation process in place and stable, we are keen to grow the user base, hopefully enough to bring back the 3rd Division table. We need another ~30-50 regular users to do this. So, if you have friends or family who are Rangers fans and would like to take part please direct them to www.qprpredictionleague.com - the competition is free to play and always will be.
