Forests for Tomorrow Program Funding
The deadline for submitting project proposals for the 2017 – 2018 program is August 19th. Eligible Activities are detailed in the Silviculture Funding Criteria found
here .
Robin Hood Memorial Film
David Springbett of Asterisk Productions in Victoria put together a film of Robin Hood. David showed the film at the BCCFA banquet in Lake Cowichan in May. You can watch the film

Proposed Changes to the Open Burning Smoke Control Regulation – Policy Update
The Ministry of Environment is in the process of revising the Open Burning Smoke Control Regulation (OBSCR). The OBSCR regulates most open burning of vegetative debris in BC. An information update describing the proposed approach is now posted on the ministry’s open burning regulatory review website and available for public comment until July 21, 2016.
