Here's what I've been thinking about and reading in
July.
Just because. Wave a car through the intersection before you. Let someone jump the queue in the grocery store. Buy someone a cup of coffee. Smile at someone when you could have done nothing. Hold open a door one second longer for someone else. Pick a piece of trash off the ground for for yourself, for the world.
There doesn't need to be a why. If we start asking ourselves "what's in it for me?" in everything we do, I do fear we'll lose our humanity. If kindness has to have a payoff, if compassion has to be justified with statistics, if empathy starts to mean "only because I see something of myself in you (spoiler: not empathy)," we're doomed.
So do something today, just because.

My One Thing: Prisma
I mentioned this on social media but this little app already has me addicted. It creates artwork from your pictures with just a click!
I had so much fun with it, I almost couldn't stop. A few tips: turn off the watermark in Settings, and I suggest having your creations auto-save to your camera roll so you can click around and then go back later and pick your favorites!
It's only available currently on iPhone, and it's free! I expect it's going to get snapped up by Facebook/Instagram or Snapchat soon, so play with it now! iPhone app | Website.

Where to Find Me
- It's summer! I won't be at too many events this summer, but watch this space. I've already had several speaking invites for the fall, some of which I've had to turn down.
- Below, some thoughts and notes from the event I keynoted in Montenegro in May.
