Oakland 3B Danny Valencia reached base four times in an 8-3 win over San Francisco, hitting three singles and drawing a walk. Valencia is hitting .335, and according to a recent article, he leads the A.L. in two-strike situations.

Yankees P Richard Bleier pitched a perfect inning of relief and earned a 'hold' in a 9-6 loss to Texas. He's held opponents scoreless in 7 of 8 appearances since being called up.

Toronto CF Kevin Pillar hit his 19th double in a 9-5 loss to Colorado, tying him for 8th in the A.L. in that category.

Brought in as a pinch-hitter in the 6th inning, Dodgers CF Joc Pederson grounded out and walked in a 5-4 win over Pittsburgh.

Reliever Scott Feldman did not play in Houston's 4-2 win over the Angels.
