Hello again from BiPhoria,
Well, last newsletter I said I was expecting June to be a quiet month. With Orlando and Brexit and more besides it was a very different matter. Thank you to the many of you who came along to the Canal Street Orlando vigil and 'human chain', it was good to see familiar faces.
It was also Volunteers' Week and we had a bi volunteering special meeting. Elsewhere we helped out on a bi resources stall at the Zine Fair in Salford. Hello to anyone who has joined our email list from that!
Looking ahead
In less than two months it will be Manchester Pride. I hope you might join us on the parade (wear purple!) and drop by the bi stall to say hello if you're visiting the main festival over the weekend.
Before that it's BiCon (see left) and we may be having bi presences whether stalls, banners or just meetups, at some of the upcoming Prides elsewhere nearby. There are so many now! If you can help out or would just like to join us at your local Pride, drop me a line.
This month...
A week or so from now, Tuesday, July 5th, is the regular monthly BiPhoria "talky space" meeting for bisexual people (and those who think they might be bi). Join us at the LGBT Foundation, 5 Richmond Street, M1 3HF. 7.30pm start for new members.
The next Bi Coffee meet (facebook event here) is on Sunday 17th, at the Vienna Coffee House, Mosley Street, central Manchester - just across the tram tracks from City Art Gallery. We meet from 1pm: look for the table with a lion on it.
As usual there's a Bi Pub meet on Tuesday 19th from 8pm at the Waterhouse, next to Manchester Town Hall. Again, look for the lion - we're usually in one of the rooms toward the back of the pub. Here on facebook.
That's all our bi news for now... More next month!

PS If you're not in or around Manchester check the local bi groups directory for details of bi meetups elsewhere in the UK and Ireland. There's more going on out there than for years!
